What happens with your customers’ numbers
Last updated: 23 August 2026
You upload only what the request needs
A review request needs the customer’s name, mobile number or email, the branch and the completed job. RatedUP does not ask for job value, payment-card data or private job notes.
The details are used for your request
The number or email is used to queue the first review request and, when the account rules allow it, up to three reminders. Every message names your business. Your editable template cannot remove the business identity or opt-out mechanism.
Opt-out is global
Every text contains a one-tap opt-out link. Once a number is suppressed, RatedUP checks that suppression again immediately before every future send.
No review gating
RatedUP does not ask whether a customer is happy before showing the Google link. Every completed job follows the same request rule.
No individual review attribution
The service records review-link clicks and account-level Google review-count changes. It does not claim that a named customer wrote a particular review.
