Who this covers
RatedUP Ltd controls the business-contact data collected by the free comparison and prospect-report tools. For review requests sent for an account, the account business decides which customer data to upload and why; RatedUP Ltd processes that data to deliver the service.
What we collect
- Business name, postcode, Google place identifier and dated rating/review-count data.
- Work email entered to unlock a comparison.
- For corporate prospecting: company name, company number, registered address, SIC code, work email source and suppression status.
- For customer accounts: customer name, email, mobile number, job status, message delivery record, review-link clicks and opt-outs.
- Account, billing, security, audit and provider-cost records.
What we do with it
We use the data to produce a requested comparison, prepare corporate outreach exports, run an account, queue review requests, honour opt-outs, prepare reply drafts, show dated scoreboards, bill the account and diagnose failures. Entering an email for a report does not by itself opt that address into marketing.
Who receives data
RatedUP uses Supabase, Stripe, Google Places, Cloudflare, Twilio, Resend and Anthropic for the service functions described on this site, and Smartlead for corporate prospecting emails and suppression. Google data is shown with Google attribution; see the Google privacy policy.
Retention and removal
Public prospect reports expire after 90 days and include a removal link that deletes the report without an account. Places response caches expire after the configured short cache window. We keep customer contact, job and message content while the account is open, then remove it within 30 days of account closure unless an unresolved dispute or legal duty requires longer. We keep invoices and accounting records for six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, or longer where the law requires. We retain only the minimum opt-out evidence needed to avoid contacting someone again while outreach continues.
Your choices
You can remove a public prospect report from its page, use any SMS opt-out link, or ask for access, correction or deletion where applicable. We answer verified erasure requests within one calendar month, subject to lawful exceptions. Account owners can cancel billing from the billing page and request account closure through the privacy contact below.
